  Great wine made with care, attention to detail for a really reasonable price. I think it is the best winery in Clare. The setting befits the service and quality of the product.

  Very disappointed. We drank a bottle of the Mr. Mick rosé with lunch at the nearby House of the Rising Sun hotel, and enjoyed it so much we decided to go to the cellar door to buy a box before heading home to Adelaide. We stood in the room for at least 10 minutes and absolutely no one bothered to greet or serve us. I could see an employee standing around in the adjacent restaurant, so either she saw us and ignored us, or didn't think to glance up. Either way, if this was my establishment she would no longer have a job. We left without buying a thing. Our money went instead to a lovely selection of Rieslings and a rosé from Mad Bastard.

  Had a great night. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and wine. Great service with a fine performance by Sam Barlow.

  We had the best introduction to cellar doors at Mr Mick's. It has a great selection of wines and Amy was really informative and helpful.
